Meet d2 architectes
NEWS
Patrick Demuylder (Director, Architect SIA-REG A) and Violaine Stassart (Deputy Director, Architect UCL) are now co-leading the entire project

After eighteen months of work, Tourelle Centre is approaching a key milestone in its transformation.

Working in close collaboration with SBS Management, the Geneva-based firm d2 Architectes et Associés SA—led by Patrick Demuylder (Director, Architect SIA-REG A) and Violaine Stassart (Deputy Director, Architect UCL)—now oversees the entire project. In addition to architectural design, which they’ve led for nearly three years, they are now managing site operations as well. Their goal: boost efficiency while maintaining the high standards expected of the project.

A project already designed—now refined
While the core layout of the center is already well established, d2 Architectes is streamlining and refining the interior design to create a more coherent and simplified experience. Drawing on extensive experience with complex renovations in occupied spaces (offices, hospitality, urban planning, etc.), the firm also ensures that all stakeholders are well-coordinated and that the site moves forward with confidence.

Migros and new retail areas
As of April 1st, Migros has taken possession of its new premises and has begun its own interior works. Meanwhile, the pharmacy, Truffinesse, and Espace Audition will temporarily relocate to a nearby unit. This carefully considered move aims to reduce disruption for tenants and improve working conditions for on-site teams.

A symphony to orchestrate
With a wide range of contractors and specialists involved (energy, water, signage, and more), a d2A team member is on-site full-time to ensure daily oversight and quick responsiveness. “Each step requires multiple technical checks,” the team notes, highlighting the importance of continually adjusting the roadmap and maintaining a constant on-site presence.

The renovation of Tourelle Centre moves forward with new momentum: streamlined processes, tighter coordination, and a strong focus on quality—all to deliver a space that’s modern, coherent, and welcoming.
